摘要

The main objective of research work presented in the paper is exploring the urban design solutions of shaping contemporary public spaces in cities, on the example of student's projects realized at The Faculty of Architecture, The Warsaw University of Technology, especially in The Chair of Urban Design and Rural Landscape. One of the main aim of education at The Chair is teaching the creation of space, that could be observed in the whole teaching process, including lectures, seminars and in all types of design works.
